Dental services, technology, & products that go above and beyond

No matter the level of care you need, we can help.

  • We offer services far beyond a standard dental office.
  • We use the latest technology to provide the highest quality care.
  • It doesn’t stop at the office – we even offer products for better home care.

Sedation Dentistry

We understand that patients might not feel comfortable coming to see us for dental work, and we want you to have a safe experience. Sedation dentistry is an option if people are fearful of the sounds or smells in our office, anxious about getting treatment because they had bad experiences before, looking for extensive treatments but fear it will be painful otherwise.

Nitrous Oxide

Laughing gas, also known as nitrous oxide, is a staple in most dental offices around the world. That’s because it’s easy to use and works for most people – all while taking effect within minutes! The effects only last for 10-20 minutes after removal from the mask you wore during your appointment though, which means that driving home afterwards will be safe too. Nitrous oxide mixed with oxygen can be adjusted throughout treatment by changing levels on an attached valve; this helps create feelings of euphoria, lightness or tingly sensations depending on what type you need at any given time.

Oral & IV Sedation

Both oral and IV sedation can be ideal solutions if your dentist needs you to stay for a long procedure that is more invasive than normal. With these types of sedation, you will remain conscious and able to communicate throughout the duration of treatment. However, it’s important we know about any food allergies or conditions which may interfere with the effectiveness of this prescription. This also means no driving home after care because it isn’t safe. Plan ahead by arranging transportation from our office when scheduling your appointment.

Sleep Apnea

No one snores more than Sleep Apnea sufferers, but loud and disruptive is just the tip of the iceberg. The disorder can damage your health in a number of ways that you may not be aware are caused by sleep apnea including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and stroke! Fortunately for those living with this terrible condition there’s an easy solution: talk to us about how we can help improve nighttime breathing through oral appliances or other treatments which will allow you to live life without obstructive devices (including CPAP’s!) as well.

TMJ/TMD: Treatment for Jaw Pain

Do you suffer from chronic headaches and migraines? Do you clench and grind your teeth? You may be one of millions of Americans suffering from TMJ or TMD, and you might not even know it! We all deal with stress in different ways, for many of us, stress manifests itself in our jaw joint in the form of bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching) that leaves sufferers with chronic pain and tension. Thankfully, your Plano dentist has an affordable, non-invasive solution to not only treat your pain but stop it at the source!

Advanced Dental Technology

Air Abrasion

Air abrasion is a new way for your dentist to remove decay and perform other procedures without the use of a drill. Air abrasion uses a fine stream of particles like a sandblaster to remove decay in a way that is more conservative in nature and causes much less anxiety for patients than a drill.

Bacterial Analysis

Saliva is an obvious specimen choice for salivary diagnostic testing. It is readily available, easy to collect, and provides critical information about the bacterial profile of each patient. If Dr. Montgomery or Dr. Sivie feel your initial salivary screening warrants further testing, we partner with a special lab for more in-depth analysis to reveal not only the oral pathogens present, but their levels. Salivary diagnostics enable us to create your individualized treatment plan for the most customized care available today.

Cavity Detection Device

Laser technology is having an increasingly important role in modern dentistry. In the past, we could only detect cavities once they became large enough to be visible or show up on an x-ray – but by then it’s too late for a good portion of your tooth structure! With NIRI® laser cavity detection technology, there are more opportunities to identify small areas before decay takes over and becomes larger and costly as well.

iTero Digital Practice

CBCT 3D Imaging

With 3D imaging technology, we can easily take digital impressions that precisely map out every nook and cranny of your mouth. We paint a thin layer of reflective dust over your entire mouth which is then captured by our advanced machine for a complete 3D model. With this data you have the most accurate representation possible to make any teeth-related decisions with confidence!

3D Imaging

Today, our 3D iTero 3D imaging technology allows us to take digital impressions that make for a much better patient experience and higher level of precision accuracy. We also use this technology to analyze jaw function to help patients who are suffering from jaw pain. This not only provides more accurate diagnoses but also saves you time and discomfort through the process!

Digital X-rays

Digital x-rays are one of the greatest advancements in modern medicine and dentistry. They use much less radiation than traditional x-rays, so patients can be assured that they will not experience negative side effects from exposure to too much radioactivity! Digital X-Rays take a matter of moments as we just need you to sit back on our dental chair where it is comfortable for you while taking the images right at your appointment time which means no waiting around or lengthy preparation times involved with digital imaging. We then send those instant images straight to our computer system where they can be viewed immediately without any delay whatsoever!

Intraoral Cameras

In the past, dentists have only been able to assess your mouth’s surfaces with their eyes and a tiny dental mirror. Nowadays, you can get an even closer look at what’s going on thanks to intraoral camera technology! These cameras don’t just help diagnose or treat oral health problems – they also provide patients with visuals in order for them to better understand any issues that exist within their mouths.

Oral Cancer Screening Device

Detecting, diagnosing, and preventing oral cancer is one of our most important jobs as dentists. Our OralID® oral cancer screening device uses natural tissue fluorescence visualization to help us detect abnormalities that may have otherwise been overlooked.

Painless Injections

Let’s face it, nobody likes getting shots. That’s why we’ve invested and received training in applying topical anesthetic for painless injections, to make sure your experience is as comfortable as possible.

Oral Home Care Products

CariFree®

If you’re sick of tooth decay and gum disease, CariFree is the solution. This innovative oral care product balances bacteria to maintain a healthier pH balance so that your teeth stay protected against cavities while keeping gums healthy.

Saliva Substitute for Dry Mouth

If you are experiencing dry mouth, it may be due to prescription medicine or a sign of an underlying medical issue. Dry mouth is concerning because saliva protects your teeth and gums from decay, infection, sores in the mouth caused by plaque buildup and more serious conditions like thrush. If treatments for these things don’t work out well enough on their own Drs. Montgomery and Sivie can recommend certain types of artificial saliva substitutes that help keep dental problems at bay while they heal!

Sonicare®

Sonicare® Toothbrush sonic technology is patented and sets them apart from other electric toothbrushes. It removes up to 4 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush! There are 31,000 brush strokes per minute for the best clean you can get on your teeth.
